Question 1

What is Shifttpe?

Accepted Answer

Shifttpe is India's shift marketplace for businesses and, next, students. Owners post short paid shifts. People nearby match, complete the work, and get paid by the business. The business app is live on Google Play.

Question 2

Who can join Shifttpe?

Accepted Answer

Indian residents aged 18 and above can join — business owners who need shift staff, and later students and part-time workers looking for flexible hours. Registration is free.

Question 3

Is registration free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creating an account is free. There is no charge to sign up. Any platform fee applies only around a completed paid shift, as described in the Terms.

Question 4

How do I update my profile?

Accepted Answer

Open the Shifttpe app Account section to update your photo, skills, availability, and preferred work areas. Keep details accurate so matches stay trustworthy.

Question 5

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Request deletion from profile settings or the Delete Account page. Support processes requests in about 2–3 business days.

Question 6

How does shift matching work?

Accepted Answer

A business posts role, hours, pay, and area. When the job-seeker side is live, people nearby swipe or apply on shifts that fit. Both sides confirm, then the worker checks in at the location.

Question 7

Can I cancel a matched shift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel in the app as early as you can. Repeated last-minute cancellations can affect your reliability on the platform.

Question 8

How do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

The business pays you directly — typically cash or UPI — after the shift. Shifttpe records payment status for both sides and does not currently collect, hold, or transfer wages.

Question 9

When will I receive my earnings?

Accepted Answer

Pay timing is agreed with the business. Update the in-app payment status honestly after cash or UPI is received so both sides have a clear record.

Question 10

How does Shifttpe verify users?

Accepted Answer

We use mobile OTP and profile checks. Some shift types may ask for extra identity details. Verified badges help businesses and workers trust each other.

Question 11

How do I report an issue?

Accepted Answer

Report safety or conduct issues in the app or email help.shifttpe@gmail.com / call +91 93293 62271. We review reports during support hours, Monday to Saturday.
